Truefoods Erythritol can be used as a sugar substitute. They are similar in sweetness to sugar.
Ingredients
Erythritol is 60–70% as sweet as sucrose (table sugar), yet it is almost noncaloric and does not affect blood sugar or cause tooth decay.
Erythritol has no effect on blood sugar or blood insulin levels, and therefore may become an effective substitute for sugar for diabetics.
